Dining & Networking
At the heart of The BIOS Center is a lively gathering place for the health conscious to find the balance featuring a bar & cafe. As we expand beyond the BIOS Center of Thomaston we will be searching for a location that can facilitate a liquor permit and commercial kitchen.
The BIOS Wine Bar
WINE: Our Wine Bar will feature the best organic and local wines.
BEER: Our beer selection will include the best organic beverages from around the world and locally brewed.
SPIRITS: All your favorites served in moderation.
Chrissy’s Garden Cafe
The founder of the BIOS concept is Steve Schappert. Schappert’s love of all things green stem from the time he spent with his mom in the garden. Christine Schappert spent 10 years developing the extensive gardens at the Mayflower Inn in Washington Connecticut. Chrissy, as my Dad called her, also founded the Brookfield Nature Center.
Chrissy’s Garden Cafe will specialize in healthy garden fare in a lively atmosphere with terrific ambiance. In the spirit of green living, the Organic Eatery will feature inspired and deliciously conscious healthy meals & tapas.
